The Iberostar Torviscas Playa is just 150 metres away from Fanabe beach and around 300 metres away from the marina. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel and, being just a short distance from Playa De Las Americas, Costa Adeje on the south west coast of Tenerife is a perfect resort for couples and families alike, being close enough, yet far enough away from the lively nightlife. Keen golfers will be pleased to find the nearest course just 5km away from the hotel. Nestled in between Los Cristianos and Playa De Las Americas, this upmarket resort has a traffic free promenade running the full length of Costa Adeje, with the most popular part running from the Bouganville Playa down to Porto Colon marina where most of the fishing trips and boat excursions depart from.
Eating & Drinking
The main air conditioned restaurant of the hotel offers a full and varied buffet for both breakfast and dinner, serving both local and international cuisine, with something to suit all taste buds. Breakfast is available from 7.30am until 10.30am and dinner from 6.30pm until 9.30pm (6.00pm until 9.00 in winter). Lunch can be ordered between 12.30pm and 3pm at the poolside snack bar which includes a mouth watering a la carte menu. Cooling refreshments and light snacks can also be taken from here throughout the day, meaning there is no need to travel far whilst relaxing by the pool! The lobby bar is open from 9am through until 1am and is a great place to have a drink in the shade during the day, or for a pre dinner drink of an evening. Entertainment can be found in the Animation Bar from 8pm until 11.30pm. Sit back and relax with a drink from the well socked bar whilst enjoying the shows and live music provided.
Activities & Entertainment
Children are the main focal point here with three Kids Clubs for different ages. Mini Club caters for 4 to 7 year olds, including the children's playground and toy and games room, whilst the Maxi Club for 8 to 12 year olds provides an extensive and exhausting activity programme. Teenagers too are catered for with a club special designed with activities to occupy the 13 to 17 year olds. So whilst the kids are away.......adults can pamper in the beauty centre with wellness services including yoga classes, massage treatments, cosmetic treatments and much more. Go on, spoil yourself! The hotel are proud to have their own animation team who provide you with organised activities and sporting events throughout the day and also entertain you of an evening with shows, music and dancing. A new addition to the property is the fully equipped fitness room - perfect for those who enjoy a good workout whilst on holiday! Outside of the hotel, there is so much to do in Costa Adeje that no one is ever bored. At the beach you will find many water sports such as water-skiing, jet-skiing, windsurfing, scuba diving, snorkelling and paragliding. There is a large golf course in the resort, along with tennis, bowling and go-karting. You can also travel to other resorts to go and visit the LoroParque and water park with thrills and spills for all ages! Boat trips are available for whale and dolphin watching and scuba diving has become increasingly popular in the resort because of its fantastic marine life. Mountain biking can be done as well as hiking through the forests and a trip up to Mount Teide is a must to appreciate some magnificent views. Pool Area
The Iberostar Torviscas Playa has two attractive outdoor swimming pools offering beautiful sea views. Sun terraces with palm trees surround the pool with parasols and sun loungers for guests to use. A towel service is also available.
Accommodation
All rooms have bathroom with bath/shower, air conditioning, satellite TV, safe, mini bar, hair dryer, telephone and a balcony or terrace. In addition to the above, each room is provided with daily maid service with towels and bed linen changed as and when required. Certain amenities may be payable locally.
