Booking Conditions
Conditions of Booking
All bookings accepted by Tenerife Sun Vacations are subject to the following terms and conditions.
Prices/Payments
When you make your booking a deposit is payable. This amount could be anything from £75 per property, per week up to 40% of the total cost of your booking. If the booking is made within 10 weeks of arrival the full amount is due. The balance is also due for payment 10 weeks prior to your travel date. If we do not receive the deposit and/or the final payment by their due dates we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled and levy a cancellation charge. Please note you will not receive a reminder that final payment is due.
Cheques must be received in sufficient time to allow clearance before the due date.
Payments can be made by cheque, credit or debit card. A charge of 2% is levied for credit card payments.
We do not accept American Express or Diners.
Cancellation or alteration to accommodation bookings
Alterations or amendments: An administration charge of £30 is levied if the reservation is subject to changes.
The client may give notice in writing to cancel their booking at anytime. In the event of cancellation after the booking has been confirmed the following cancellation charges will be applied:
Scale of cancellation
More than 70 Days - Loss of deposit
69 - 57 Days - Deposit plus 30% of total charge
Less than 56 Days - 100% of total charge
Accommodation
The accommodation provided is for the sole use of the clients listed on the booking form. All damages, breakages and other liabilities incurred at the accommodation will be charged to the clients and must be paid for before departure. Some resorts or apartments may require a security deposit usually, in the form of a credit card slip on arrival. In some instances Tenerife Sun Vacations will hold a breakage deposit which is fully refundable upon inspection of the property by the Management Company in resort. In the unlikely event that the apartment booked becomes unavailable Tenerife Sun Vacations will make every effort to offer comparable or better accommodation than that booked.
Special Requests
We will wherever possible, endeavour to meet any special requests made in writing to us. However no guarantee can be made. If your special request means additional costs, we will advise you and invoice you for the additional amount.
Transfers
No transfers are included in the cost of your booking unless otherwise stated. If you have booked transfers with us, please note that it is your responsibility to notify us of any flight changes.
Complaints
Should you have any cause for concern during your stay please contact our representative/management company: the phone numbers are on your accommodation voucher. In most cases such problems can easily be resolved at resort. In the unlikely event that the complaint continues, please contact us directly on (0044) 1704 574146. Complaints cannot be considered upon return to the UK unless the above procedure has been fully followed.
